Just came in from watering the plants, Sunday I'll have to cover them, there'll be frost. Going to gather them in the middle of the porch around the one planter out there and use the planter as a tentpole for a sheet to they stay fairly safe. It won't be freezing but it will be close. I moved my strawberries to the sunny side of the porch because I read they need full sun and daily water, though the water I'm not going to do, they are doing fine as they are so I'm not rocking the boat, they don't get completely dry, I water every 3rd day. The lily of the valley isn't dead yet but it's not producing either GODS I hope they make plants I want them so very very badly. I have (at some point) copper drop lilies and bleeding heart on the way I may not get them until early March, and 2 Duranta come mid February. Cannot WAIT for those.
Later, 5:27 p.m.: I actually was looking at my lily of the valley and I do believe it is thriving, I know one of the pips is. I bet they all do fairly well by full spring, let's see!
